One of the best long lasting family establishments in the area. NEVER had a bad meal in over 6 years that we have been coming here. Staff is always friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. Daily food specials for lunch and dinner. Highly recommend checking them out. But if my husband and I walk in the door make some room 🤣🤣
My family has been coming here since before I was born. I am 34. Tonight we celebrate my grandma's 85 birthday. She used to own the deli years ago down the street. I wanted to compliment every single person who served us tonight. It was BEYOND five stars. Thank you to everyone!
New favorite spot for the non seasonal meal. Great seafood , friendly bartenders nice homey atmosphere nothing fancy. Probably busy during summer so we will take advantage of off season visits.
Went right before Father's day in the middle of graduation season. Getting in around 4pm was good to get seated pretty fast, but everyone came in droves. Heard there was parties of 8-20 all around us.
While it was pretty quiet before the large crowds, we were well attended. But by the time our main meal came out we weren't able to successfully flag our waitress who was working with several large groups. - to the point we had to ask the busboy for refills and when we realized we didn't get part of our meal.
There isn't a good designated area for smoking outside as we would smell the smoke come in occassionally when someone was coming in or out of the main entrance, as we were seated near the front.
Food was good and all came out almost too hot to touch. Although we ended up having some of our food packed to go due to time delays.
Pictured is the broiled seafood platter. Would definitely order again. Also loved that the servingware looked like a fish.
Typical bar Shore place, pizza burgers, fish ,steaks. Great place to grab something quick but beware it does get very crowded in the height of the summer. Have fun!
Went for the first time. Server girl wasn’t the nicest from the start. Seemed annoyed but she was very nice to the table next to us showing pictures of her puppy (which I would have been happy to see & hear about too 😉). Got shrimp cocktail for app. Was good. The bread was real good. Hubby got the Delmonico. He said it was flavorless. Fell short from the hype we heard & read. The side of mashed potatoes were cold and no taste. I ordered the spinach manicotti- from under the pasta section of the everyday menu. When it arrived it was 2 PCs of manicotti covered in burnt cheese & lots of oil on the bottom but no sauce at all. Hubby asked where’s the sauce?? I took a small bite but could not eat it. Had to ask someone for our server as she didn’t bring our food & was not around. When she finally did come by i said I’m sorry I can’t eat this, I thought like (baked ziti, lasagna, etc) it was made with sauce. She said oh well do you want a side of marinara?? I said no thank you. And because in all honesty with all the cheese and all the oil a side of marinara wouldn’t have saved it. So I ordered penne w/vodka, figured it would be quick and easy since my husband was already eating. It came out pretty quick. It was ziti not pene. I’m sorry but if a meal is advertised with a certain pasta please let the customer know that’s that’s not what you have today & there is a substitution. Some of the ziti was hard as if reheated. The sauce was watery and no flavor. I asked someone (again our server disappeared and was not around) for cheese. I took a few bites & wanted to like it but it was a definite no. Server never came by to see if all was ok. Hubby was done, my dish was barely touched and server came by with a container and I said no thank you. She didn’t ask if there was a problem or anything. We were nice to her from the start, not sure what the problem was Didn’t offer coffee or desert but I don’t think we would have stayed. So we tried it. Won’t go back.
My 2 stars are for the bread & shrimp cocktail. Not the food we ordered and DEFINITELY NOT the server.
And I certainly do respect servers as they do work hard but I’m sorry if she can be nice to another table and spend time there even when she wasn’t bringing the food or anything and we’re right there and she doesn’t even look over to see if we need drinks or check on our food and treated us the way she did , I have an issue with that.
The photo of the manicotti is burnt cheese NOT sauce
The bar pizza is a must wonderful thin crust. The service was GREAT courtesy of Linda & Trish!!! Clean friendly local establishment. Very large menu selection - highly recommended.
This place used to be so much better. I am not sure what happened . Moreover, from the moment we sat down, I felt so rushed. The waitress was so very sweet, but must’ve come over half a dozen times to ask if we’ve decided on our order yet? , which started to get extremely irritating as this continued through to the end of our meal.
I ordered the broiled seafood combination and had the stuff crab replaced with extra scallops or shrimp. The portion was so extremely small. I really can not believe they would serve something like that. Clearly they did not replace the stuffed crab. Moreover, the seafood had a very odd taste like it had been sitting in tapwater, or unfiltered water. That is the only way I can describe it. Very disappointing. I cannot say I will be back anytime soon.
